Warning letter w/out WE drop Topic

So here's one I've never experienced before...I have a kid complaining about minutes. it's the sort of complaint that is usually accompanied by a WE hit, but the kid's WE for the season is still showing a gain. So two questions...

1. Do I really need to worry about the note at all and try to get him the extra time he wants?
2. If he's still showing an overall WE gain for the season, do I need to be concerned about the kid possibly bolting at the end of the season?

Thanks...I've never seen a complaint in the game where it wasn't accompanied by a hit to the WE for the player in question.

I wouldn't trust anyone's answer unless WIS confirms it or unless another coach confirmed it with WIS directly..

I would definitely send in a ticket. but I'm not sure they would give you an answer.

Even if they had or hadn't , there would be too few examples and even then it could be a roll of the dice thing whether they leave or not.

The second complaint is usually the serious one. First drop can be trivial, but ignore the warning at your peril. Was this his first or second complaint?

It was his first complaint and there wasn't any drop...he's still +1 to WE for the season on his ratings.

I'm not overly worried...his minutes slid due to being in an uptempo/mismatched part of our schedule...when I slow the tempo down and the games aren't blowouts, he'll be in longer. I was just baffled as I've never had a complaint that didn't come with a WE drop, but should he happen to do the fouling out in 7 minutes thing I wanted to know if I need to really be concerned to get him back on pace.

ETA: I guess the other reason I'm curious is because I was told way, way back after my only actual minutes-related departure that players were only at risk of leaving a program if there was a WE drop.
