I signed a rookie free agent for $2.8 million before the season started. I'm wanting to resign him, but it's not letting me. I'm assuming that it's because he's not arbitration eligible yet, but since he's not eligible for arbitration and not free agent eligible either.... will his salary drop down to the standard rookie contract? or what will happen to him since he's not on my list of upcoming free agents or arbitration?
