Have any of you guys noticed that some owners jump from world to world? I am looking at some of the most successful owners (wins/losses perspective) and it seems that they only join a league when there is an open team with a stacked mlb or farm system or both. Then they ride the team for 4-6 seasons and jump ship.
I suppose if you are desperate for participating owners, this is fine, but I would prefer not to have these type of owners in a league.

And they like to run up payroll while being there and then bail when the team starts to decline leaving a very undesirable old and over paid team with several ugly contracts.

I actually do the opposite. I enjoy rebuilding teams, so I cut payroll and focus on the future to make the team more attractive to a new owner. Several of my teams have gone on to have a lot of success. Blanket statements of any kind are dangerous.

I am a fairly new owner. I have read a handful of complaints about the gleeman world. However, I would much rather play with someone who has a loyalty to his world, than somebody who comes in after all the hard work is done and slaps his name on the work as if it was his blood, sweat, and tears that built it.

You didn't build that!

I just joined a world where a new owner came in and he now has an average ratings ranking of much higher than any of the teams in either of the gleeman worlds. I am not talking about overall. I am talking about splits, batter's eye, 1st pitch, power, control and all Fielding rankings. I just looked at his trade history and he has traded young for old. So, yes. I would not be surprised if he ran this team for only a few seasons, then jumped ship.

When you look at his user profile, it is s uber impressive until you look at the history tab and see his consistently low tenure in the worlds that he has joined.
