First real attempt at D2 recruiting. I’ve got 2 Very High D2 recruits but they won’t sign. One says early too! What gives?

Couple quick thoughts:
1) Have you offered a scholarship?
2) If they are labeled as D1 players they won’t sign until RS 2, even if you’re very high on them and have offered a schollie.

I've done the no-offer on a scholarship before. Definitely check that.

On the other one though, he wouldn't be able to get to very high in RS1 if they are D1 recruits; he'd be stuck at moderate on them until after the postseason break into RS2.

My "out there" thing to consider here is whether something got messed up with the server switch. We have one world where it was reported in the forums that actions were almost certainly accruing during the pause because they were based on time (and confirmed by CS as I recall...). I received a notification in one of my worlds that I could start contacting recruits Sunday (yesterday) even though the world doesn't actually start recruiting until Wednesday due to the pause that took place. So my question would be whether anyone in the world is signing and if something may have gotten mucked up by the 72 hour pause and the game has maybe paused signings per the original world schedule (since it appears at least part of the recruiting process is a function of real-world time rather than in-game time)

Signing in Naismith just started yesterday evening. Give it a few more cycles. It’s weighted toward the front, but it doesn’t mean they WILL sign “early”. There are always some outliers.

Thanks. It was my impatience. After a dozen seasons at D3, watching, waiting and hoping the recruit will be yours, I actually found a couple D2 guys that fit my system. I wanted them now (stomping my foot). The early guy did sign this morning but I was worried about the server switch.
