I'm late to mention this, but in a previous forum topic way back, it was discussed that players don't transfer if they are redshirted and they dont like it. They just lose their work ethic, but they stay.

That can't be something that's always true is it? Because I have a player on my Coker team that was a transfer from D1 Southeastern Louisiana. And he was a freshman when I recruited him. But he had a redshirt season in with the D1 school.

So was there just some bad info swirling around at that time? Or is this a unique situation? I'm not sure what's more odd..... the fact that i'm mentioning this after a full season of having the player. Or the players name, Chris Paugh (Not Paul, but he IS a point guard tho!)

Could it be that SE Louisiana cut the player instead of him leaving...maybe the coach gave a redshirt but then found something better the next year in recruiting and cut the redshirt kid to make room?

Very possible as well. That's why i'm asking again. Maybe for some clarification
