I can't understand how I dropped from a B- to a C+ after sharing a regular season title and winning the conference tournament. Any insight?

two thoughts

1. the change may have been tiny - your actual prestige is a decimal - the letters are rounded results - so a small change in the thousandths place could move a low B- to a high C+

2.I think that conference prestige affects team prestige - was the conference down?

My thoughts as well. SOS was way down, suggesting maybe the whole conference dipped a bit. Either way, the actual change is very small, and really shouldn’t affect your team or recruiting much.

It actually looks like a bug to me.

Per the forums, as I recall, prestige is supposed to weight your last four seasons most heavily. The season you just pushed off that list was pretty crappy compared to the one you just had. I'd submit a ticket.

For those of you anxiously awaiting the conclusion to this saga:

"Sometimes the prestige calculation can produce quirky results like this. Mostly it stems from the logic artificially limiting the amount of drop in one season. In this case, that happened in season 139. So, your prestige from last season was artificially inflated."

Sounds like a bunch of crap to me. Along with a ticket, I'd send them some Toilet Paper also.

I think this sometimes as well. Especially when people start talking about their formulas and spreadsheets and things. I just recruit good players, look at matchup numbers, look at 3pt shooting/shooters, depth, IQ, and play ball. I don't have graphs and charts and such. Maybe that's why my ceiling at this point is Elite 8s and not titles. I also only have one team with more than 5 seasons played. So maybe I'll get over the hump soon..... but not because of quadratic equations, pi, or accelerated calculus. Just the good ol eye test.
