I'm curious to know what the longest-running continuous rivalry is for two non-conference opponents (preferably with the same coaches throughout). In Crum I've saved my schedule and results for each season I've played, which goes back to Season 63 (thru our current Season 99).

Last night my Crum Providence Friars played Pepperdine and simpleton for the 15th consecutive season. The Waves are up 8-7 in the rivalry that i think is now recognized by most as "the Greatest Non-conference Rivalry In The History of Crum World Division-1".

If yearly records aren't saved, then the team schedule does show non-conference records if a team is scheduled in a particular season. For example, in Crum, the Friars have played Boston University 11 times (11-0) and Brown only 9 times (7-2). None of my 10 non-conference opponents show more than Pepperdine's 15 matchups. I didn't schedule Rhody this year, but that might be a high number based on previous owners.

Ok I'm surfing around Crum, and i noticed Pitt is 23-21 vs Penn State. Wow. Goodtymes31 has been at Pittsburgh since Season 14, so he's been part of maybe every one of those matchups. z0601 has been at Penn State since Season 72, after building a powerhouse at Saint Francis of PA (Elite-8).

Are there any teams with 44 games or more?

My longest tenure at any school is Slippery Rock. And for no reason at all, tissot (Bowie St) and I have played each other every season since I began. Unless he leaves for some reason, this will go on forever.

We always play on the same line, Game 9. And we never even discussed it until a couple seasons ago. We just kept the home-n-home's going

Those are always fun. When I was at Hawaii in Naismith, I always played robinhood's Mississippi team. I think we got to 18 or 19 straight before I dropped out of DI. Winning is nice but competing against other vets is where the most enjoyment comes from for me.

My Linfield team has played 39 games against Carthage. I don't think this started 39 seasons ago, but I know Timbo71 and I have played the last 25-30 straight, usually game 10. I'll have to wait till next season to see my record against him.

I've played Willowcards2/transylvania for 14 straight seasons. 2-12. I'm a glutton for punishment.

Longwood/Northeastern St. has 41 matchups in DII Iba - The rivalry started when I was at Longwood and continued after I left for Mt. Olive.

I have a series going with Bellarmine (gatorpiston) 13 seasons. We don’t talk about it it just takes place every season, week 4 every season, 8-7 in the series overall.
