Am I enjoying this game too much to where I cannot see the writing on the wall? Gleeman ran two leagues (season 46 and 37 respectively). He is now leaving HBD. Many openings on the classifieds list including some historically difficult to join leagues.

I hope there is not writing on the wall and my worries are unfounded. What are your thoughts?

I certainly wouldn't base the health of the game on Gleeman. I doubt SportsHub would make the effort to integrate HBD into their suite if they weren't interested in keeping it alive. They would be smart to continue to evolve the game, updating stadiums, etc. But as long as new owners continue to join, trying to learn the game and ways to measure player value, HBD can keep going for quite a while.

That said, repopulating worlds often takes more effort now. When joining worlds, look for those that don't wait until rollover to start recruiting new owners.
