Consider your competition. Other owners in your league may totally ignore their minor leagues. Pitchers on 0(0) rest; position players pitching; entire rosters made up of tryout players just so they don't spend prospect money on their drafts.

Also depends on what age players you drafted. In my world where I draft College players, the Rookie team always kicks butt. In my other world I draft High School players and the Rookie team always struggles. Because in the first world my RL players are 21 or 22, and in the other they're all 18.

What it may show is that you have a sense of how to assemble a team. You'll also find that some franchises prefer to place their top draft picks at levels other than RL to start their careers.
