Nope, that can be common. One of the worlds used to have a collection of coaches who would scout the D3 sim teams and try to find one that would have lots of freshmen in the following season, and then they?d flood the team?s non-con schedule as part of a contest to see who could run up the highest score and margin against the sacrificial lamb squad. It wasn?t uncommon to see a couple triple-digit margins from the projected line.
Humorous aside note...one year some unfortunate soul picked up said Sim team in the offseason to receive the Murderer?s Row non-conference schedule and the contest was called off for that season. Pretty sure they ended up buying the guy a free season or two as compensation as well.
