What are the biggest rating factors for Offensive Reb?

I took over a team last season with strong rebounding in the paint. And my bigs are good rebounders again this season. However, both seasons my team has been beat by opponents in the OR stat.

One way to look at it is that you’ve missed 526 shots, and you have 206 offensive rebounds. Your opponents have missed 634 shots, and have 225 offensive rebounds. From a ratio standpoint, you’re doing fine on the boards.

Super helpful perspective Shoe, thanks. When I look at the top 16 on Projection Report, there are 4 other teams (besides mine) with a lower avg ORs/game than their opponents avg.

So that makes 5/16 of the top teams... and we’re in the same boat. I’ll chill out now. Haha.
