I agree with that. Edgar M should get in.
I understand the rationale behind keeping Bonds out but disagree strongly. HOW do you keep out the game's most feared hitter (when in his prime), the HR leader of all time, etc. Bonds should be in. (UNLESS you can show me clearly than nobody else got in while using PED's), I'm pretty sure the "hall" has already been contaminated. For decades actually!

Clemons I agree shouldn't get in. A bigger deal for me is Schilling. I'm a BIG no way On Curt the "red light" addict.
With the exception of a few games his career was monumentally average. And his character and humanity is completely lacking. FAR, far worse than Bonds.

My ballot would be Edgar, Mariano, Mussina, Halladay, Schilling, Walker, McGriff, Bonds, Clemens, Rolen.

I think Edgar, Mo, Halladay and Mussina will get in.

i would never allow rose in or the steroids guys.......betting on baseball as a mgr......no way.
i remember when clemens would take off seasons to get needled up....and then have a great season...cheated.

im no rebel on this subject...ruining records is esp harmful to the game.....they should not get in.

I respect that take. I just think the lines have become too blurred to make concrete judgments on players. There are already known cheaters in the HOF as well.

now that Baines is in the Hall, pretty much everyone who performed "good but not great" can get in. In other words, who really cares about the watered down HOF. Baines in, but McGriff isn't? That alone tells me everything I want to know about the voters and their biased ways. Another thing that's gotten "stupid" about the hall voters is their "no 100%" rule. IMO, the Hall lost its way several years ago.

yeah, I was actually glad when Baines got in. it was so outrageous I could safely not pay attention to the process anymore and avoid getting angry every year.

Martinez and Rivera. Messina borderline but probably gets in. The steroid guys made a choice and they were rewarded with big contracts and outsized statistics but no Hall. Too bad.
