Just FYI that I'll likely need a couple days to make my first pick. I've done maybe a quarter of the research I need to do so far.

Understandable. I'm in the same boat.

I have never been known for planning. Jumping right in with:

2005 Jeff Bagwell $ 766,546

with NO planning at all, you jump in with a, what the hell, stab in the Dark, pick & get the BEST pick in the draft! Right...

Good pick with Nolan Ryan - all of his best years are in the American League & he doesn't have any low salaries, to be dead weight, so whoever picked Him got the Best season & everybody else is SCR*Wed Over!

Thanks, but I would argue that there are some pretty bad high-salary seasons for Ryan in the A.L. (unless you are a fan of a pitcher walking 200) . I almost picked him in BOTH leagues, but I wasn't a big fan of his best Texas season (too many HRs).

Funny thing is I could have also picked Gaylord Perry in both leagues. I considered doing that also, but couldn't get his best NL seasons to line up with Marichal's best NL seasons.

What happened to "Marichal's best NL seasons"? He would be much better than some of the F*cking Jokers we got! First time, I have seen a player selection... JUST so they could take their player & his WORST season, with Less than 1m salary,... Thats kinda Fwhacked, isn't it, really?

Next season, how about having to select a player, who is an Allstar & pick their version of the player, with at least 2m salary?

Whoa wait a minute, your first round pick is Great (Bagwell) it's your initial round pick, that is Fwacked, Williams & Bruce, Both that are under 1m... So both of those players are Fwacked, riding the bench except to get Williams 20 something IP's...He can get as mop up Pitcher, but... 169 AB for Bruce might be kind of difficult, for him to get, being That Bad? That is not really in the Spirit of this league? Unlike MY selection, who's probably going to start & play in 150 games!
