The Golden Age progressive is looking for 4 owners for new expansion teams for the 1969 season and beyond. We are a 12-team progressive that started in 1920 and are currently in the 1967 season. We will be expanding to 16 teams in 1969 (4,4,4,4). Contact me if interested in joining or checking out the league...I will add you to our private forum. There will be 2 NL teams and 2 AL teams available. First come, first served.

How the expansion will work: our current teams will supply a protected list of 14 players (incl IR). All other players will go into a pool, including any undrafted players from 1968, for expansion draft. The draft will consist of 16 rounds, with no current team losing more than 5 players. Once a team has lost 5 players all other unprotected players from that team will be removed from draft list. The draft order will be random with a serpentine style draft. After the expansion draft is finished all keepers will be posted and the regular 1969 draft will begin. The expansion teams will get the top 4 spots in reverse order from the expansion draft.

We have a wins floor of 35 in this league. It will be waived for 2 seasons for the expansion teams
