How (and would) you use this guy on a playoff team?

My favorite kinda player because everyone else avoids him. Make him your closer A that only comes into games when you are winning in the 9th. He should get that 1 big out that you need........ probably no more then that.

Edit: Oh wait. I saw the VsL and 2nd pitch. I wouldn't use him in the playoffs. For a stamina under 10 my guy has to be lights out and assured he is going to get the outs.

I also have Irving Medrano, who I can pair with Ray for the 9th inning in the regular season? In the playoffs, is Medrano good enough to be a closer? Should Ray be a RH specialist in the playoffs?

I'd have Medrano as a closer for sure. You'd probably only get 1-2 batters out of him but he will give you the number's you'd hope for. I'd consider having Ray as a SuB. He will be more likely to come into situations you need him for. I'll try to edit this post with the guy I had like this when I can find him.

Fautino Carrasquel was my ace up my sleeve. He didn't pitch much, but when he did OH DOGGY was he ever good. Is 27 innings good at an ERA of 2.93? Maybe. You'll be pretty angry when he gives up those runs (I know I was). is he worth it for 36 innings of 1.50 ERA? Oh for sure. And then that one magical season I had him, I think he only pitched 22 innings but didn't give up a single run. Now that was worth it.

I don't think I would want two pitchers in my bullpen with such low stamina(plus you also have an 18). Even putting them together it is questionable if they would get through one inning. I currently have a closer with 12 stamina. I have him set at 15 and he probably gets through one inning 60% of the time. If I had to use him I would put him is as RH specialist but I would be looking for a better option.

Id throw him in the gutter and go find another. He can pitch 5-8 pitches at best before diminishing returns. Even if he is lights out that is 2 outs every 3rd day.

In the playoffs with off days, fewer starting pitchers needed, and a team that doesn't need to platoon in the field, you can use him.
