The New Dynamic Progressive League has an opening for our thirteenth season, 1897.
In our current format, we have a single 12 team National League. For WIS format purposes, we will be placed in two six team divisions playing a balanced schedule. The top regular season team is recognized as the champion, with the unofficial World Series existing for credits/reward points only.
1900: For one season, we operate as an eight team league. for WIS format purposes, we'll double up, with an unofficial AL operating independently, just for the sake of continuity.
1901 and on: We expand by eight teams, with the 8 existing teams in the NL and eight brand new expansion franchises in the AL. Owners of previous franchises are invited back first.
The league operates under a simple structure in it's current format, with a wins floor and weighted draft lottery system going into effect for our 1902 season. A full league operational outline is available in the league forum.
The available franchise, Boston, is one of the surviving 20th century NL franchises.
