I don't know if this has already been talked about or only happening to me. Has anyone noticed an uptick in the DL at the ML level. After 50+ seasons I am seeing injuries like I have never seen before. It's a bit ridiculous. In one league, I've had 6 guys on the 60 day DL already on my ML roster. Currently I have 3 guys on the 60 day DL, 2 on the 15 DL, and 2 more hurt with 7-10 day injuries. And 6 of the 7 are pitchers.

I can't wait for the All Star Break, and I need it to be a 10 day break! I have never seen the injuries I'm seeing this season. Is it pure coincidence on my part or are others seeing the same things.

Furio Zeigler decided to wait until he signed a massive contract with my team to turn into a glass house.

I've seen an uptick in DL across all levels on all my teams.

I haven't

It has always seemed to vary. I did notice I did not get as good of ratings return on the 60 day dl as I hoped for.

I thought age had a factor in it also.

Im not sure I understand what you mean. I used to get recovery above the pre injury ratings with 20/20 med/training. Age never was an issue. This looks to have changed.

Yes, I am also noticing a change in the recovery, even with high medical/training. And age can matter, but that usually didn't take as much affect until after maybe 30, then you wouldn't see as big of a recovery as say at 26 yrs old.

I used to get recovery in excess to pre injury on pitchers as old as 38 with 20/20.

This guy jumped up above his pre-injury ratings on only his first recovery bump. Seems to be working fine to me.

Lucky you! I did not get so lucky.

I'm not saying its not happening, I just think it has been curbed a bit. At least it seems that way.

And what are your thoughts? Do you think training has as much to do with the recovery as the medical? My thoughts are training has much more to do with longevity throughout the season and maintaining the ratings throughout a career. I'm not sure how much it has to do with injury recovery.
