18m medical 5 injuries no recovery, why? Topic

Mostly curious about the first link... over 70 day injury 24 years old and nothing back. He was an older college draft pick at 22. Starting to feel like I should spend 0 on medical... here’s another from last season 0 recovery

Players not recovering to their pre-injury ratings is common. Notes on training/medical budgets as they relate to injuries:

A higher training budget lowers the probability that an injury will occur. That said, even with a $20M training budget you will still have a few players get injured each season.

A higher medical budget shortens the length of an injury.

I do not think either training or medical budgets have much effect on recovery of ratings after an injury but I might be wrong there. With a 0M medical budget you are likely to have more long term (60 day DL) injuries than with your 18M budget. I run a $20M training and $10M medical.

$20 Million in medical budget definitely helps recovery for injury, but typically it is more on guys with a high makeup rating as well. I think there are a few veteran owners that use the $0 Medical budget.

The first 2 guys were on the 15 Day DL, which from my experience is 50/50 if they get ratings back. Use 60 Day if you want ratings back plus some. The 3rd guy should get a bump or 2, but some injuries are just too severe to get back to original ratings.
