Does an "Ankle, bone bruise" DL hurt offense? Topic

I'm evaluating a trade but the player I'd be receiving hit the 60 day DL with "Ankle, bone bruise" - his defense ratings look weird so I'm sure they took a big hit but I'm wondering if anything would happen to his offensive ratings too?

It would affect his speed. I'm not sure if it would do anything to his hitting numbers, though.
