I noticed something interesting in the Naismith recruiting point guard rankings this season, and wanted to see what those of you who pay more attention than me think:
PG1:
https://www.whatifsports.com/hd/RecruitProfile/Ratings.aspx?rid=4922641
775 overall rating, listed as an A- on the list page before you have his full ratings, ranked #5 overall.
PG2:
https://www.whatifsports.com/hd/RecruitProfile/Ratings.aspx?rid=4922948
749 OVR, listed as an A. Ranked #9 overall
PG3:
https://www.whatifsports.com/hd/RecruitProfile/Ratings.aspx?rid=4922627
797 OVR, A, #10 ranking.
Just curious how the system ranks players by position in case anyone's done a deep dive, and I'd also have thought the A/A- rating thing was straight overall-rating-based, without any subtlety in it... and would go hand in hand with rankings (ie- how can an A- player be the highest-rated when there are 2 As?) . For the record, I'd go 3-2-1 in my personal order, but they could all play for me.
