Can anyone take a look at my Tacoma team and see what is wrong with it. It’s the worse team in the league. I don’t know whether I should sell the team off for prospects or try and acquire some upgrades where I need them. I didn’t think my team would be this horrible. Just when I thought I figured this game out, nope.. I don’t have a clue lol.Some help would be much appreciated.

The things that stand out to me are:

Player Profile: Marshall MacRae - Hardball Dynasty Baseball | WhatIfSports and Player Profile: Andres Serra - Hardball Dynasty Baseball | WhatIfSports each has like 6 errors in 40 games and neither hit good enough to justify that.

Only only have 1 player hitting above .800 o.p.s

You have 5 pitcher with 1.40 whip or higher in a pitchers park.

I did not look at other teams nor have I ever played in a pitchers park but I find those as reasons to not win games.

I'd agree with all of that. Your team is very Average at best. Which leaves it wide open to results being determined by outside factors - other teams, scheduling, things like that.

You've got a lot of hitters with all their ratings within ten points of the 70 benchmark. Nothing that stands out. I've found that players like that, depending on how the world plays, can sometimes have terrible seasons.

No standout defenders. The backup SS would be starting for me.

And your SPs all have one weakness or another. The guy with 43 vsR in particular.

Production from your 1B is particularly poor. Agree with damag about your pitching staff. I would see if you can pick up some defense first types to round out your squad. Abad should not be a starting CF. I would plug Kapler in at SS as the starter as well.

You are also in a merged world, which typically means the overall talent level is better because the only teams that remained from the two merged worlds were the powerhouses. Your roster is probably a 75 win team in an older world, but it is not going to be very good at all in one that recently merged.

Nobody really jumps out as way under performing except maybe Stanley and Boyd. I think I would play Minor(you traded your best starter for him) in right/MacRae at 3rd/Kapler at SS(Maybe even bring up Granados to play against Lefties even though his glove is 79). Carrying 13 pitchers due to the low staminas in the bullpen hurts you. I would be bring Fox back up and give him starts before Butler. 12 million for a reliever that gives you 50 innings. 10 Million for 4 years for a RF and he has given a total of 37 Hrs in 4 years. Both of those hurt because have a 90million payroll but nothing to really show for it.
