I’m debating whether or not to name this owner, as a PSA for other commissioners.

Im running a historical replay league. As such, no combined seasons are allowed. I had an owner join, then after the league was full and I was reviewing rosters, I reminded him of that rule. He proceeded to tell me I hadn’t thought things through and didn’t understand how the rules would hurt his team due to lack of IP. I told him he knew the rules and would either have to figure out a way to make it work or select a new team. He left the league, telling me I was too difficult and didn’t need to be such a “********”.

I’ll never understand why owners join a league with rules they don’t like, them complain about them. Especially waiting until after the league has filled to voice their displeasure.

That's really annoying and I share your frustration with people who get mad about league rules, there is such a wide variety of options on this site, just play something else.

I'm not sure it rises to the level of warranting a public shaming, but if you see that guy acting the fool in some other signup thread for a league you're in, maybe let the commissioner know.

No easy way to handle difficult owners, one of the perils of being commish.

I wish he had acted the fool in the sign-up thread. He didn't make a peep until all 24 teams were entered and he was asked to correct his roster.
