So ... I read through the "WIS For Dummies" thread and paid particular attention to the importance of identifying your AAA prospects. So I went to the draft center, and under advanced search, plugged in the appropriate point values for a right-handed hitting catcher with a 7 contact, 1 power, 5 speed and D stamina ratings. Also added his c-/b+/a+ defensive ratings for s and g's, and changed his batting particulars to right-handed, as well as, of course, a $200K salary. I tried the search and got an error message that said basically numeric values only in the search grid ... so I took out the fielding letters. Did another search ... no players found. So then I took out all the numeric values .... except for the salary .... assuming I could identify the player by the defensive ratings as an A+ arm sounded pretty good. About a dozen catchers came up at t he $200K price point ... but none with an arm rated over a D level. So has this method of search for players changed? Has WIS changed this so you can't identify them anymore? Thanks for the help.
