D3 recruiting question Topic

With a D3 team in the first recruiting period can I battle a Sim coached D2 team for a D2 recruit that the Sim D2 team has offered a scholarship to.
We are both moderate but I worry that on the first session of the second recruiting period the recruit will sign with the D2 team before I can sign him in the last 24 hours of the second period.
If I put enough effort in with HV's and the CV will the recruit hold off signing until I have a chance?
Or should I just walk away now and look elsewhere?

You won’t be able to sign a player until the last day if you are recruiting fora D1 recruit, so the D2 school has an advantage that if he chooses to sign earlier, the D2 school will get him. I don’t recruit against a D1 or D2 team unless all the preferences are in your favor and I can either keep the other teams low or very low.

If it is a D2 recruit then you can sign him at the start of the 2nd recruiting session. You don't have to wait until the last 24 hours. If you are going up against a D2 SIM it is best to try and put in your effort before they offer a scholarship. You can still beat them, it will likely take more effort and unless you push them down to very low you risk the recruit signing with them in the first period, depending on signing preference.
