I lost a battle for this player 4 seasons ago but wasnt sure if I should be upset or not so I kept an eye on his growth. His career is almost over and, as you can see, he isnt much better (or even worse) than he was as a FR.
So as others have said, unless you are already in love with his current ratings, stay away from WE this low.

Good to know. It will be interesting to compare with Eric Perkins. He’s the lowest I’ve taken. His starting physical and defensive cores are high enough that I’m confident he won’t digress enough off-season to lose his starting spot, unless I really run into a string of star guards. The variable is the difference between a starting work ethic of 1 and 4; at 4, will 4 years of starting get him to a point where his work ethic improves enough to start making real progress on perimeter by his upperclassman seasons, when I might want him to score a little? We’ll see. His low work ethic will mean I probably don’t have to sweat an early entry message, so that’s nice I guess; but it will also keep his IQ lower.

I also feel there is a WE bump that occurs at 25 MPG that the OP player couldnt comfortably reach with his stamina.

I had a 1 WE guy get to B/B

Guy above was B/B+

This guy was a huge help to me in my rebuild. The best you can hope for is that they tread water. He got to B+/B+.
