I just took over a school that the AI recruited two slugs.....will I be able to pull their scholarships or do I have to wait until next season?

You won't be able to pull the scholarship off of them in RS2 (don't know when you're taking over this team), but you can pull them off next season and you will earn recruiting and scouting resources for them.
