Hey all, I'm the coach at Hampton in the MEAC. I recently wrote up small overviews for each team in the conference and sent it to the coaches individually. I was just reviewing their past successes and potential for future success. I had no intention of the conversations going in this direction but here's some small pieces I got in return -

"It's great being in a conference that is so enthusiastic. I have coached in conferences where nobody says anything for an entire season....taking the XYZ job has been so much fun so far, mostly because of the good group of coaches we have, and the feeling that everyone is trying to elevate the conference together. I would love to do that, but I just got to D2 in Tark and would need a couple years. I’m sure someone will jump on it before then!

I love that you guys are doing this, I'm in D2 in Tark so I'll keep an eye out for Florida A&M if it opens!

Right now as we enter the CT, the MEAC is tied for 2nd. Very cool!
