What's the TOC and how do I get ready for it ?

Can a roster be changed specially since they've adding an extra 10M above the OL budget ?

Can I pull the team if I don't want to mess with it ?

And why was I added before the WS was even over, and why isn't my opponent added ?

if you make the WS you get a spot (with the exception of 12 team leagues, then only the champ gets in). if you make the final four you will get a s***load of credits.

no, you can't change your roster, the salary caps are in intervals of 10 million. everyone between $80M and $90M goes in the $90M.

no, you can't pull the team.

TOC = tournament of champions. 32 team tournament made up of teams with similar total salaries, who made it to the World Series in their league. Nice prizes (reward points) are awarded to the final four.

It does not affect your original team at all. Usage from the TOC does not affect your current WS team, and vice versa

You cannot pull your team from the TOC - and I have no idea why you would want to.

You cannot change your roster. I assume you are in a 90M TOC - this is because your total 25-man major league roster salary (including the REAL salary of any AAA players you have) is somewhere between $80,000,001 and $90,000,000. Your opponent may be in the 100M TOC or the 80M TOC, depending on what his final 25-man salary is.

Thanx you and others for sharing. I thought it would be a full-season I'd have no interest in, not just a quickie get my *** kicked. Although, I *REALLY* want to knock off one of the worst offending ever copycat cookie-cutter sposedly 'superstar' owners. Anything else, win or lose, I don't care. Can't stand this guy.

Definitely read those posts above. Might also be worth your time searching the forums for some of the older TOC advice threads. Fatigue in TOC can be brutal if you’re not ready for it.

I’ve only won two TOCs, and both times I rested as many regulars as I could for the first game. But you can’t always afford to do that depending on your opponent. If they’re coming from a progressive league, you most likely can, if they’re from an OL it’s probably still safe, but if they’re from a theme, especially one that is designed to give teams an advantage in TOCs, then good luck.
