I don't know if this is abnormal, or I just haven't paid enough attention to this in the past to pick up on it, but it seems weird to me. I am looking at a recruit, and his primary offense is listed as motion, but his preference shows he wants a flex offense. Is this rare to see on a recruit?

It’s not common, but it’s not a fluke or glitch. The idea is that some recruits will want to play something other than what they are familiar with, change of scenery kind of thing along the lines of wanting to play far from home.

Makes a lot more sense than the recruit who wants a long-time coach, but also wants a rebuild.

I see it often enough that it doesn't surprise me when I do notice it.

yup, happens.....the kid cant stand his high school coach who makes him run triangle in a strictly controlled way - wants to play a freewheeling motion offense in college!
