I had very little to do with it, of course. Just 1 vote. But, anecdotally I know a tad why. My In-Law (Dad of my Daughter's Husband) is a long time Mining executive and lifelong Republican. He doesn't agree with Biden's "policies" but he voted for BIDEN!

Here, in AZ, it's ALL about Trump. Judgment day!
Upscale Republicans in places like Paradise Valley, Scottsdale, and Oro Valley with higher levels of Education in their background abandoned Trump.
They did what many did in 2016 when voting for HRC.......... they held their noses and did what they felt they had to do.
It was ALL about Trump.

Trump won in 2016 because people HATED HRC.
Trump lost (presumptively) in 2020 because people HATED him.
Both elections were about people instead of issues.
