Suggestions for a better experience Topic

I have a couple of ideas to make the game better that I think would be universally accepted for a better experience.

1. When sorting ANY players in free agents, rule 5 prospects, amatuer draft, etc. it would be nice if it would freeze the top pane as in excel. With so many columns it is so difficult, especially on a phone, when looking through a list of players to know which rating it for which column.

2. When filtering the "criteria" in looking at free agents, it would be nice to have 3 or 4 "criteria" to filter.

3. There is a glitch in the system that affects the Rule 5 settings as much or more than the Amatuer Draft settings, but affects them equally. If you set/change the number of "Targets" after you "Rank" your players, it reverts the ranked players back to the default rankings. How can you know how many players to draft in the Rule 5 draft until you have ranked the players? How can you know how many C's to draft in the Amatuer Draft until you have ranked the players?

4. Total budgets should be based on the previous season's win total. Maybe the full $185MM if you reach 85 wins, $180MM for 75-84 wins, $175MM with 65-74 wins, $170MM for 55-64 wins, and $165 with 54 and below wins. It would represent a more real life situation in fan attendance in most ML parks based on the type of team they put on the field. This make owners really try until the end of the season to put the best team on the field. It would help stop the low payrolls to just reach the MWR of 55 in most worlds, which result in the astronomical IFA signings of $30+ to $40+MM we see in some worlds. It takes away from middle of the road owners (70-80 wins) that are truly trying to get better from being able to compete in the IFA market. No world would have to have any MWR because the reduced total budget would take care of tanking. I think this would also stop owners from totally breaking down teams and unloading all of their contracts.

I actually like #4 the best. Private leagues with MWR do a good job of stopping the rampant tanking we used to see. But - to really encourage teams to get competitive and stay competitive, some form of a wins bonus would be great.

We need to be able to set individual player base stealing settings, not by team.

To your point on #1 - I would go one step further and just allow player information to be exported to excel. I do it anyway, but it just takes a bunch of copy and pasting. It would be nice to be able to export all information in a clean file. It would also help because some screens don’t show as much information as other (makeup for instance, isn’t on most screens besides amateur draft).

#4 I think might have some flaws. A lot of the big dynasties I see go all out on internationals, either by going 0 medical or trading away guys when they get to arb. Seems like this would give them a bigger advantage imo. Also what would you do with new owners taking over? I get what you’re saying is probably more like real life, but in this instance I think the way the game does it makes it more fun for everyone.

#4 is a terrible idea. Competitive imbalance is a bad enough problem without punishing the losing teams by giving them a budgetary disadvantage. I can see people hanging on to the last place team because of the high draft pick, but retention of other lower standing teams would be problematic to say the least. It's a non-starter.

Put me down for a cleaner way to export and possibly import draft lists.

In regards to the suggestion #4 the problem is that irl there are other noncompetitive reason to own a franchise, in HBD the only reason is to win. How about a elo ranking system? Sure there would be a little bit more math involved to compensate for team jumping and strength of opponents etc... If you attach some sort of non monetary prize (badges, access to better leagues, etc...)
