Is margin of victory the only (or main) difference between the Projection Report (tournament seeding) and the RPI formula?

From what I understand (could be wrong), margin of victory doesn't matter much, if at all. Quality wins are much more important, meaning wins over top-100 and top-50 teams.

Ahh. I’ve been going down the rankings trying to make sense of it. I’ve always felt the PR is a more accurate measuring tool but didn’t know everything that factored in.

i agree, PR is way better. also mlitney is right, its mostly record vs top 25/50/75/100 that makes PR different (and better)
