Okay, I know HBD isn't going to just start opening up new worlds, so this is just an idea I had that might be fun.

What if there were two or three worlds all linked together, with the same 32 owners, to form one "interdimensional mega-world"?

How it would work is it would be perfectly acceptable to trade player A in world A for player B in world B...in other words, you could send a superstar to another team in exchange for a scrub in world A, and get back a stud prospect or two in world B in exchange for a scrub. Or even trades involving multiple teams over all three worlds could be possible.

The world would take some getting used to, and everyone involved would need to be prepared for a learning curve, but it would be a unique challenge for those who feel there isn't much more challenge left for them in HBD.

It sounds like a fun idea to me; I'm sure I will now get ripped apart with every possible negative comment anybody can come up with.

STUPIDEST IDEA EVER!!!! Just kidding.

Its definitely out of the box. I think the challenge would be to get 32 owners to by in.

this would devolve into one third super teams in each league and 2/3 minor-league feeder teams...you'd have to pick which league you'd want to compete in while you pillage the other two.

Yeah, I kinda think this is how it would play out in real time.

that isn't to say it would be a bad outcome...you'd have tons of resources at your disposal so opportunity for wheeling and dealing. could use one team for your IFA track and one for your draft track. there would be a ton of competition for the HOF-type talent

I thought about that, but doesn't that kind of happen in a lot of worlds already? At least in this case there would be a lot of options for improving a team.

And imagine the challenge of becoming the ultimate champion... winning the world series in all three worlds in the same season.

I suspect you're right... maybe not buying into the concept, but it would be buying into spending $75 for a single season instead of $25.
