I am certainly not going to argue that Garvey should be in the Hall...but if you had told someone in, say, 1980 that he would not be there (and he really never came close, if I remember correctly), it would have come as a big surprise.

Garvey is one of many exhibits in the case against the proposition that MLB awards are biased to East/West Coast teams.

EDIT: Just checked...he started off in the high-30s, low-40s but his support slowly deteriorated over time and he end up in the low-20s, fell off the ballot after 15 tries in 2007.

Don't want to give any spoilers, but so far I did not get, but should have, the 1950s pitcher question, the pinch-hitter question, I am not sure if I would have gotten the HOF question, but it was spoiled above, the question about the first ten years, the one about the Reds (I should have known that one), the night game question, the second baseman question, the AL MVP question. The rest I got, result:
