Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I can’t seem to figure out how to rescind a bum the sim recruited. I just took over a team and re-upped for next season. How do I get rid of a bad recruit?

Go to schedule > World Schedule > scroll down to near the end of the season, the date will be listed there. It's nearly the same as Recruit session 2.

In other words, you are stuck with him for this year. Good News though, once you screw up and blow all of your scouting dollars, rescinding that scholarship will give you more scouting dollars to play with for session 2 scouting (of course that could have just been my experience).
