Sent this ticket last night:

I'm in a league with pitcher 2011 Javier Vazquez on my team. In both the SLB database and at baseball-reference.com he's listed as having played 32 games and thrown 192.2 innings. That works out to just over 6 innings per game, but in both the draft center and on his player profile page his IP/G is given as 5.35. Any idea why that might be? And should I be setting his pitch count based on his actual IP/G, or the one SLB lists him as having? Thanks.

Thanks we will look into it, some of these stats are adjusted relative to the league, I just can't remember if IP/G is. Base everything off the SLB reports as that is what is pulled into engine. IP/G will effectively impact player stamina and usability. Thankfully whether 5.35 or 6 not massively off, but I agree our reports should be more transparent. But definitely follow what we have vice BBR for how they should be expected to perform in SLB engine.

As Admin says, it's not a massive difference, but it is a difference, and not in my favor, ha ha.

Seems like they're using the wrong number of appearances for some reason. It looks like he had 3 appearances as a PH and 1 as a PR (see the appearances section on BR) for a total of 36 'appearances' and 192.6 / 36 = 5.35

I checked a few other pitchers but didn't see the same type of issue so maybe it is a data source problem on Vasquez? Anyway they oughta fix it

Poking around more it seems like 2008 Tom Glavine has a similar issue shows 4.52 as IP/G but actual is 63.3 innings in 13 games pitched which is 4.86
He had one PH appearance and 63.3 / 14 = 4.52

Guessing now that there must be others

Adam Wainwright has at least a couple of seasons that seem off too

Looked at Ruth 15-17, and they all seem off as well. Couldn’t figure out where the extra appearances were from, but he’s credited with a lower IP/G than his GP/IP would suggest
