So I've had ideas for 2 possible draft leagues. They've probably been done before so let me know if they go by another name lol. I couldn't decide between the two so I figured I'd post both to see if anyone was interested or had any suggestions.

The Chain gang

Each team will draft a team starting with the leader of their chain. Your pick in the second round must connect to their first pick. Meaning that they must've played at least one season with that player (doesn't have to be that same season). The next pick must connect to the previous pick only they can not have played with the first pick at all and so on and so forth.

For example LBJ>>AD>>Eric Gordon>> James Harden is a successful chain. While LBJ>>AD>> Rondo>>Paul Pierce does not work because rondo played with both lebron and AD. I haven't decided if it would be best to let the chain leader be first come first serve so that strategies can be made or chosen in the draft.

Second Chances

Every year teams leave players on the board during drafts i.e all 14 teams who chose before the bucks in 2013. What if they got a second chance? Franchises would be first come first serve and will only be allowed to pick players who came after their pick that year( or over a 6 year span haven't decided which one is best). The draft could look something like this:
R1: 2020-2014
R2: 2013-2007
R3-2006- 2000

And so on and so forth until 1972 then reversed.
