16 Team Format

This Progressive uses every year in the WIS database chosen randomly.

Starting after Season 1 and every off-season thereafter you will get a randomly chosen year either from 1886-1960 or 1961-2019. 1st year WIS eligible Players from that season will be your pool to draft new players from. Each successive season your randomly drawn year will alternate to 1886-1960 or 1961-2019 depending on which year you had the previous season. There is no limit to the number of players you can Cut but every new player you draft to replace your cuts must come from the season that was drawn for you and it must be their 1st WIS eligible season. Everyone will get a different season.
1885 will be a Wild Card Free Agent season and 1 owner each year will be randomly chosen to draft 1 player from that season. They must Cut their most expensive player going into the next season to make room for that 1 player from 1885.

There will be No IR.
Players will progress 1 season at a time unless they miss seasons due to injury or war, then they will skip over those seasons.

There will be no Keeper lists.
You get your new season at the end of the year and draft new players from that season, then Cut whoever you want to make room for them.

All Trades are allowed.
If collusion is suspected between 2 owners all future trades between those owners will be put to a vote.

Seasons will not be used again in a draw if they had been chosen the previous year, however they can be used again after skipping 1 year.

Does this play like a 120 mil league? A 140 mil league? Any sense of what to expect?

Salaries are widely variable with them currently ranging from 115 to 180M. We align by salary... highest to the lowest and most of the high salary teams have a lot of wasted salary on their benches.

So alignment isn’t by salary, not random (as the ad says)? Just checking….
