Fact: I get some payoff for investing $20M in Medical - IF I ever need it. Knowing this allows me to draft riskier players, knowing that I can accommodate DL stints.

There are a lot of other Budget categories which could stand to have incentive to investing in them, but which have little or no incentive at all.

I've also seen other owners budget $0 Medical. Whenever they break a good player, they just trade him to someone else, while playing up his past draft/IFA cost or historical stats... ignoring the fact that he's broken.
