I'm starting to try and get more into this...
Am I missing something or can I not search for fielding grades and other criteria on advanced search settings? I was reading on the forums how to search for defense and i can't get it to do it for me.
Also...what is considered a good/bad ERC# for pitchers?

Fielding pct and range are on a scale from 12(A+) to 1(D-)

When you click on any open draft slot in the player search feature, scroll down to Search Preferences, select Advanced then Save.

ERC and normalized ERC (ERC#) are a broad assessment of a pitcher's effectiveness. I would say anything under 2.00 is exceptional, under 2.50 very good. OAV, BB/9 and HR/9 are all needing to be above average to avoid serious concern. If any of those 3 numbers are out of line I would consider that pitcher to be a risk.
