How good would this guy be? Topic

Assuming everyone else stayed within the normal range, how good would a player with 150 ATH/SPD/PER/BH/P be?

Would throwing out a handful of supermax guys like this every recruiting cycle add strategy to the game?

Is this a real question? It's almost Wardo-esque

If so, it would be like MJ in a YMCA league

LOL, I feel honored to be compared to Wardo. Yeah, maybe a stupid question but I figured breaking up the threads that complain or ask the same questions over and over wouldn't be horrible.

I was thinking about this as I was recruiting. Every great player in HD is basically the same. Bigs have 90+ ATH/REB/DEF/LP and guards have 90+ ATH/SPD/DEF/PER/BH/P. There isn't much to differentiate one from another. Then I was thinking about what would happen if you threw a guy out there with 150 defense, rebounding, or passing. How would the engine handle it? Could a guy average 20 rebounds a game or 10+ assists? Could you have a truly dominant player which is totally absent from HD now? Would the well balanced team vs. the superstar's team be an interesting dynamic?

Then, what if there were recruits like this every session? Or what if there were a recruit with 125 PER but 10 defense or 150 defense and 0 BH/P? Would extreme recruits like this make the game more interesting? I think NBA 2K and Live at some point had specialist attributes like being clutch, 3 point specialist, etc. Maybe incorporating something like that into HD would add depth to team building. Or maybe it would suck, not sure.

Why don't you just make ten louder and make ten be the top number and make that a little louder?

I feel like we already kinda had this with D3 before Seble destroyed it. You could take some players that were good at one thing but terrible in everything else and still be successful. Now every good team has good ath/def unlike before.

This was my friend's favorite player. He is still the career leader in 3pt% in school history but he would get crushed nowadays (even more so than back then).
