It would be nice to play him at 3B instead of LF or RF with that range and glove. Thoughts?

Sure. If I needed to fit the bat in. The lack of arm will mean a lot of errors and - plays but the range will make up for that. I'd prefer him at 2B but you could make it work.

For my SD team I play Estiban Prado at 3B. You can see, 20 errors but 10 plus plays so it offsets a little.

Compare that to a traditional 3B on my St. Louis team Aaron Minicozzi where he is 'Traditionally' 12-15 errors and 6 ish plus plays. Its negligible if the bat is good. and A Rod's bat is very good.
