Does it matter? If all other things are equal, will a 7'2" 285lb center out rebound a 6'5", 225lb one?

Height and weight are not important... It's the skills.

Yeah, height and weight are important when generating the ratings. But it's all in the ratings for you... height and weight are window-dressing

I never even look at height and/or weight. The theory is that these may be tied to attribute generation. But regardless of whether they are or not, there is no 'extra impact' outside the actual attributes.

players height can change over their career. Possibly growing by up 3" or 4" over the years.
I'm guessing this growth may be coming from improved big man skills(?). Doesn't really appear to be random.

But they never put on a single pound. Life would be great to be a sim college player.

For those coaches looking for an extra challenge, maybe try to win with a team based on height/weight restrictions. Like all of your players have to be either under 6' or over 7'.

when it comes to winning the tip, height usually prevails

If you sign a guy that's 5'11" and he grows 2 inches, do you have to cut him?

Here’s an oddball thought though. Say you coach a D3 school, and have two C recruits you’re looking at, roughly the same attributes, and both have green 50 rebounding. Player A is 6’5”, Player B is 7’.

Player A might grow 4+ inches over his career. Player B is unlikely to grow. IIRC, player growth can impact rebound and shot blocking over the offseason (not potential, but actual ability). Can we infer that player A’s starting green 50 *might* have a higher ceiling? Obviously we can’t say for sure, but if we wanted to ride the rails tight…
