Cub and I Need Your Questions for a New YT Series Topic

Hey everyone! When I first came back to the game, as a visual learner it was very helpful to see Cub give his thoughts on basically everything you would need to know when returning to the game. I'll link the previous video series down below to give you an idea of what we're starting with, but the goal here is to improve on that, cover more topics, dig deeper into some game knowledge and most importantly here, get the community more involved.

That's where you come in. Cub will be taking a team in D2 Phelan, which means first up, job selection thoughts, introduction and current state of team intro, general questions, etc. Would really be awesome to get some questions going for episode 1 because we do really have a lot of flexibility there. Moving forward we will cover Period 2 recruiting with a new team then continue on. Which means even if you don't have any questions, any suggestions for videos would also be very helpful!

Thank you guys, appreciate any questions you give us!

Thanks for the introduction TMac. We are excited to get this started. Will just be a normal team, videos will be posted in a delayed matter to ensure recruiting is fine.

So- I am really interested in Gameplans.

I am in my second season. Feel like I don’t understand the best practices there. It doesn’t matter yet, as I’m still learning and my team is not ready to win anything yet. But I’d love if you spent some time on that at some point.

As far as talent evaluation- some of my questions center around the importance of getting good ball handling/passing vs good speed/athleticism vs good defense at point guard. Just in general. I love talent evaluation discussions. So that kind of discussion would be appreciated.

As for scheduling, I’ve watched your previous video two or three times. But I need more info. Do I go out and try to make my schedule as tough as possible? Do I goi out and schedule 8 wins OOC but kill SOS? What helps prestige? 8-2 OOC with SOS of 200 or 1-9 with SOS of 1? Can I get into the tourney with a SOS of 100 or so? Do my players improve more if we’re winning because we’re working harder because we’re winning? I know there are all different philosophies. Just a real, in depth discussion on strategy would be nice.

Figured I’d just toss out a few ideas.
