How Decide WHO Steals Against the A+ Catchers ARM Topic

So how does the Algorithm or Decision Tree determine Stolen Base Attempts ... I read that an A+ Catchers Arm would deter those who steal bases to begin with (Advanced Settings : Stolen Bases : 1-5) from stealing .. That is to say if Team A has Catcher with A+ Arm and Team B is playing Team A tomorrow 06/10/22 AM then how is it decided on a PA upon PA who goes up against the A+ Arm with the 60% caught stealing percentage

base stealers will be more aggressive the weaker the opposing catcher arm. I don't believe it's been quantified statistically anywhere.

you can see this easily by looking at the performance history for popular catchers. A+++ arm guys like Roseboro will have very few attempts during the season compared to noodle arms like Victor Martinez

You can *somewhat* manage it by putting all your baserunning to 5 (team and individual), but even with Vince Coleman, you'll have times he doesn't run against and A+++

Another stat you can look at when looking at SB is SBA/100. The higher the number, the more aggressive the runner will be. It’s why 81 Raines can easily steal 100+sB with his +70% SBA/100
