Joshua Erwin or George Sell?

These are my 2 starting guards, at least in difficult games. Sell has better guard skills, and still has black potential in passing. Erwin has a big advantage in IQ. Sell is a better shooter but that's not terribly relevant even if you are someone who prefers to put your scorer at the 2, since these guys are the 3rd and 5th options in the offense and won't be shooting a whole lot in any case.

For me, Erwin's IQ and excellent stamina are the deciding factors. He's not an ideal PG (I'd like higher DEF) but for DIII he should more than do the job until you get well into the Tourney.

Playing man, I’d tend to put the A+ IQ on whichever guard I expect to be the most dangerous, because I really don’t think there is going to be a meaningful difference between these two playing point offensively, most of the time. If all else is equal I probably default to Erwin at PG, but if the opponents got a star at sg, I don’t mind moving him over at all.

That's what I did last year - Erwin at PG, but late in the season I swapped them a few times when the opponent had a tough SG.
