I'd like to see them make leagues available without 3 pointers. That way when you have a league that is all players from the 50s and/or 60s or even 70s you can have that option. I'd like to see some of these current era 3 point chuckers have to play with no 3 point shots. It would certainly lower the value of players like Curry.
That's one of the reasons that I don't follow the current NBA. Games now are all about trying to get open 3 pointers for 3-4 guys around the perimeter. Many nights teams are shooting more 3 pointers than 2 pointers. Most penetration now is just to kick out to an open 3 shooter. I understand that it makes for more points and more efficient offenses, but it's just not fun to watch.
You used to need over 300 blocked shots to lead the league. For the last 5 years the league leader had less than 200 blocks. Last season it was just 177. Jaren Jackson just led the league with 2.3 blocks per game.
