Hiring bench coach to be Fielding coach Topic

All the quality fielding coaches in my league just went for 5 mil plus. There are a bunch of bench coaches that have high 70 fielding ratings. Seeing if anyone knows if I hire one of these coaches to be my fielding instructor will they accept if they do. not get ML bench coach offers? And will they still have the same value as a high 70 fielding instructor. I don’t think rating drop of you switch roles.

They'll accept an offer to be FI. However, they won't re-up to be FI next season.

Thanks tlowster. It’s a BC with a 79 Fielding rating or low 60s actually FI so going with the lesser of two evils this year

I did that last season with one of my teams. But as tlowster said, after we rolled he wants to come back as a BC.

From what I've seen, as long as a BC/PC/HC has their core rating over 75, they're going to want to be a major league BC/PC/HC.
