I had two pitchers take no-hitters into the 7th inning on opening day, plus Vida Blue gave up 9 runs. So, a mixed bag.

Bad news: 3-10 opening session
Good news: Relievers only lost 2 of the 10 games, and I only went 0-2 in 1-run games.

(I'd rather my teams just suck than be extremely unlucky.)

My Braves relievers only walked 9 in 4.1 innings. Is that good?

One of the two FAs from the 1919-20 teams with the first name Babe has hit a homer so far this season.

That would, of course, be Adams, who hit 54 fewer of them in RL than Ruth did.

My 13 free agent pitchers through 7 games are a combined 4-11. All other pitchers are a combined 45-31.

Quotable all day and all night. Glad you found a partner who appreciates their humor. I've mostly failed on that count at least.

Not sure I would go as far as saying "she appreciates their humor"... but I figured she ought to know what she was in for, if she wanted to be around me for the long term. I do have her quoting lines from that movie though. Yep - she's a keeper.
