something that came to mind. I will not be altering my team. So as teams filter in, I won’t be adjusting as I can view their team as the league creator. I’m in the AFC East and will stay there. Just being on the up and up. This will be fun!

We'll see if we can get some momentum here like we did with the draft league. I did have you in mind with this type of theme, but wasn't sure you would be onboard with the extra 10 mil. This extra cash will assist if owners DO want a real DEF to help balance out the offensive-oriented sim. Makes the game far more interesting when there are a number of ways to win--and the extreme offense copycat formula doesn't have a distinct advantage. Not to discourage that here with a 70 mil cap! Bring the pain with whatever type of team you prefer.

I haven't been sitemailing or promoting this much, I wanted to see if we could grow this organically with no timetable really. And I have plenty of teams in WIS and in fantasy money leagues that fill up my time. But feel free to recruit anyone you would like. As you know, the draft league requires some vetting and the routine drafting and voting commitments to make it so.

I'm ditching my cookie cutter farce team already, just can't do it. Going with an Air Coryell theme team in this one, knowing some Open leaguers may bring their cutters over with a little extra D.

We love the posts here! Certainly not a requirement if you just want to quietly slide into the league as well. You have the league number. No rules. 70 million. 1 team per owner. 18 spots left.

To create more balance in WIS NFL football. You need more money to balance out the rosters.

The elite offensive players and offensive lines that are routinely selected don't cost enough based on their impact in the game. And, the good-to-elite defenses (that could slow those elite offenses down) cost too much to have equal footing in your standard 60 mil leagues. And, this issue is just perpetuated with a lower cap than that-- with worse players.

Therefore, we have this 70 mil cap option. No rules. You can try different strategies and feel like you have a chance (in every game) vice running out the same boring offense lines and elite offensive players and no defense teams. In life, you like different experiences. So, I'm guessing it would also be fun to win different ways. I have never used the same roster of core starters twice. Never. Defeats the purpose, defeats the fun, eliminates the possibilities. Can you win with a running team? A 30 mil DEF? A west coast pass first team. A volume team that controls the time of poss.

We strive for variety here. Good variety. Great strategy. Great parity.

More money, more balance, less shootouts, using all of the inventory, different styles, and demonstrating that varied personnel and coaching matter. Hope you will give it a shot and join us in NFL28483.

When WIS introduces NFL newbies where do they go, right into the Open Leagues versus the unimaginative grinders. The newbies do bring different teams that they like or have liked over the years only to get those teams humbled. We do need a redirect for the newbies to available the Theme Leagues. Most newbies still just do Opens, without even looking at the Theme Leagues that are available. The NFL Draft and Keeper Leagues are the best.

This will likely be a slower process than usual I'd guess (than the 60 mil open leagues); Although, its a good time to put it out there over the holidays with people having time off.
